Do portal users need ERP licenses?
Portal by Webisoft apps work through the your ERP API, not named ERP logins, so customers, partners and most of your team use the portal without their own ERP seat. Vendors set their own rules for API and indirect access, so we review your contract terms with you during discovery, before you commit.
Is Portal by Webisoft an eCommerce webstore?
It covers B2B ordering: a catalog with each customer's contract pricing, live stock, quick reorder, quotes, invoices and online payment. It also covers what a webstore does not: returns, service requests, approvals and internal tools for your team. If you mainly need a consumer storefront with themes and merchandising, a storefront platform may fit better.
Where does the data live?
In your ERP. Each app reads and writes the ERP through its API, so an order placed in the portal is an order in the ERP, and stock, pricing and invoices are what the ERP knows right now. There is no second order database to reconcile.
Which ERPs do you support?
SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle NetSuite, Odoo, Sage, Acumatica, Epicor, QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365 Business Central. If your ERP has an API and is not on the list, tell us which one and we will scope it.
Can customers pay invoices online?
Yes. Payments go through a payment provider connected to the ERP, and the payment is applied to the invoice in the ERP. Card details are handled by the provider, not stored in the portal or the ERP.
Does it work on phones, and for sales reps or punchout?
The portals are web apps that work on phones and tablets. Ordering on behalf of a customer by your sales reps, and punchout catalogs for buyers who order from their procurement system, are built as modules on the same portal and scoped with you in discovery.
How reliable is it?
Portal by Webisoft runs at 99.99% uptime. Your ERP stays the system of record, so the portal never holds the only copy of an order, an invoice or a payment.
